Minerva FFA students received honors at the FFA's annual banquet at the Minerva High School on April 21. Twenty-three students received the greenhand degree, and Jonathan Lucas received the star greenhand degree.

Dungee is Malvern's Teacher of the Year 

Brown Local teacher Duane Dungee was recently named Malvern High School's Teacher of the Year by students in the school's chapter of the National Honor Society. Falon Jones, NHS advisor and science teacher, said students consider educators for the honor each year.

Immunization requirements have changed 

Immunization requirements for school attendance in Ohio has changed. All students entering seventh grade in the fall are now required by Ohio law to show proof of the following immunizations before starting school:/ TDaP vaccine to protect from tetanus, diptheria and pertussis.
