Word seems to spread quickly in a smaller town so that everyone will know what is happening much like the grapevine of our youth. When I comes to business the grapevine is a fast means of communication.

I recently ended my employment at Gordon's Graphics in Malvern. I left grateful -- for my years there, for a career satisfied, for experience gained, for meeting friends and customers like you, for contributing to the community who raised me---for so much and more.

In February 1943, General MacArthur requested General Walter Krueger to be placed in command of the newly formed United States Sixth Army, which was to be sent into action in the Southwest Pacific. General Krueger was born in Prussia and came to the United States when eight years old.
Rarely do I write about Lake Mohawk issues in a letter-to-the-editor section. However, I do copy the lake on many of my letters that go in the local papers, but the board has to approve what I write and so far none of my letters have been printed in our Mohawk newsletter.
About a year ago I wrote a letter to the editor about McDonald's in Minerva. The 12- to 15-year-olds run in as they did a year ago. They have vulgar mouths, are disrespectful to the people around them, and leave their messes on the floor and table. From 2:20 p.m.
