Barbara Ann Powell, 79, of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday morning, July 1, 2017, at Campbell Place. Barb was always the life of the party. Having thrown her last celebration and checking off the last of her "to do" list, there was nothing left to do but go home.
Mary Lou (Castellucci) DiRuzza, 79, of North Canton, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. Born in Malvern to the late Luigi and Amelia (DiPede) Castellucci, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Louis DiRuzza, brother, Dominic Castellucci and sister, Louise Castellucci.
Delora B. Offenberger, 78, of Minerva, died Monday, June 26, 2017, in Alliance Community Hospital. She was born May 27, 1939, to James and Delora (White) Willison. She was one of the first female truck drivers for the J. B. Hunt Company where she drove for 20 years.
Victor J. Green, 64, of Canton, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born Dec. 20, 1952, in East Liverpool, to the late Roy and Jeannette (Lower) Green. Victor was retired from Miller & Co, in Canton.

Diana J. Walborn, 74, of Alliance passed away at 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at McCrea Manor. She was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Alliance to Henry and Ruth (Chandler) Walborn and has also resided in the Homeworth and Minerva areas.
Florence "Flossie" Rue, 87, of Minerva, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at St. Luke's Lutheran Community in Minerva. She was born July 8, 1929, in Cleveland to Arthur and Florence Emily (Polen) Nagey. She retired as an assembler/finisher from TRW Metals in 1986 after 21 years.
Paul H Carr, Sr., 79, of Malvern passed away in his home, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 surround by his family. Paul was born in Hamalton, W.Va. on Nov. 3, 1937, a son of the late Pete and Maci (White) Carr. He attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and served in the U.S.
Chester R. Lucas, Jr., 70, of Minerva, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Alliance Community Hospital. He was born July 22, 1946, in Canton to Chester and Laverne (Blackstone) Lucas, Sr.. He was a U.S. Marine and retired from the military after 28 years.
Ann M. Haas, 73, passed away June 1, 2017. She was born to the late Raymond and Alice (Lenhart) Baughman on Feb. 10, 1944. Ann attended St. Paul's Catholic School and graduated from Fairless High School.
John F. Hudson, 81, of Malvern, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2017, in Aultman Hospital surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Kokomo, Ind. to Lloyd and Edna (Ebert) Hudson. He retired from Colfor in 2011.

Faith Elaine (Overholt) Miller, 58, of Homeworth, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born May 25, 1958 in Canton. She lived to be a wife, mother and grandmother.
Norene L. (Heath) Casale, 92, of Minerva, died Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was born June 17, 1924, in Canton, to the late Thomas and Lillian (McDowell) Heath. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and was a 1942 graduate of Minerva High School.
Eugene "Jim" Frantum, 83, of East Rochester died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Aultman Hospital. He was born Feb. 3, 1934, in East Rochester to Charles and Corrine (Dinger) Frantum. He retired from PCC Airfoils in Minerva where he had worked for 43 years from 1957 to 2000 as a Metrologist.
Pearl E. Reikowsky, 100, of Minerva, died peacefully in her home, Saturday, May 13, 2017, surrounded by her family. The oldest of six children born to Russell W. and Leona (Stump) Hinton on Oct. 28, 1916, she was the last surviving sibling. She was a farm wife, mother and business owner.
Peter J. Majka (aka Pete or PJ), 38, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at his home in Tennessee of a sudden heart related illness. He was born in Wooster, the son of the late, former Malvern High School teacher Mary Ann Majka.

Carolyn "Cookie" Regina Cooke, 72, of Minerva, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Carolyn was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on Jan. 2, 1945, a daughter of the late Glenn C and Eloise (Green) Hull.
