After 11 years of service to the Malvern United Methodist Church, Pastor Allen Hill will be retiring effective June 30. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Carolyn, will be moving out of the Malvern area. His last service with the church will be June 26 at the regular service time of 9:30 a.
Minerva's Entre Nous Club held its final meeting prior to summer recess at the Hart Mansion with 22 members and guests in attendance. Vice President Diane Evans, filling in for President Sarah Mueller, welcomed all and invited the members to introduce their guests.

Local families visit loved ones Jane and Donna Tucker visited Courtney Wenner, of North Carolina, at camp Lejeune in Jacksonville. The Tucker family camped at Wickershams Retreat. The weather was beautiful for camping. Jack and Pat Ossler visited on that Sunday afternoon.
