St. John's Evangelical Church will celebrate its 175 anniversary on Sunday, April 23. St. John's was founded in April of 1842 and has continually served in the ministry of Word and Sacrament of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Churches hold benefit dinner for Rev. Hale Stillfork Presbyterian of Augusta and Corinth Presbyterian Church of Mechanicstown held a benefit dinner for Rev. Ryan Hale and family at Carrollton Catholic Women's Hall. We would like to thank everyone who helped fix the food and serve it.

2007 Rotary exchange student Ignatio Vitale, know to the students at Malvern High School as Nacho, brought his parents to the Rotary Club of Malvern. Domingo Vitale and his wife, Lilliana Schwindt, arrived from Olavarria, Argentina to visit their son.
The March meeting of the Little Sandy Creek Ruritan Club was held on March 21 at the Paris Israel Church in Paris. President Dick Pero called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Dick Lotze gave the invocation. Secretary Dick Beck led the singing.
The Great Trail Joint Fire District is hosting its annual pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 9, 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. noon at the South Station at the end of South Reed Street. Pancakes, sausage, potatoes, eggs and a beverage is on the menu. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children under 10.
Robertsville Grange met on Feb. 24 at at Robertsville Grange Hall. The attendance was 31, and Master Bill Walter presided. The recent birthdays of Dick Lotze, Nancy Walter, and Florence Shepherd were recognized during the meeting. It was baking contest night.

On March 15, the Mohawk Trail Garden Club met at the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center in Minerva. The hostesses for the day were Pam Darden and Sally Patterson- McCall. There were 15 members and one guest present. The program was succulent plantings in a tea cup.
WIGS sponsor dinner "Workers in God's Service" of Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville met on March 20 in the downstairs social room beginning with a brown bag lunch. Mary Creighton was hostess and gave table grace for the eight members present.
