Minerva FFA students received honors at the FFA's annual banquet at the Minerva High School on April 21.
Twenty-three students received the greenhand degree, and Jonathan Lucas received the star greenhand degree.
Twenty-two students received the chapter degree with Britney Wayts receiving the star chapter degree.
Bryce Fankhauser received the outstanding junior award. Kaitelyn Wayts was awarded with the DeKalb award for most active fourth-year student enrolled in agriculture studies.
The chapter also recognized students who participated in the FFA's fruit sale and in CDEs throughout the year.
New officers were also elected to the chapter: President: Bryce Fankhauser; Vice President: Beth Eglie; Secretary: Abbie Greer; Treasurer: Kaylee Kovach; Historian: Enrique Gonzales; Student Advisor: Noe Gonzales; Sentinel: Parker Snode; and Reporter: Alyssa Law.
