Minerva Police Report

On June 8, 1:54 p.m. police received a report for found property of a set of keys located at Bicentennial Park. After a brief investigation the keys were returned to the owner.

On June 8, 10:30 p.m. police received a report for harassment from a residence on W. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 10, 5:06 p.m. while on a traffic stop police arrested Joshua Carothers, Massillon, for a warrant out of Massillon Police Department for assault. Information was obtained for a report and Carothers was turned over to Massillon Police Department.

On June 10, 9:52 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged Sarah Patton, Canton, with open container. Information was obtained for a report and Patton was scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court

On June 11, 4:30 a.m. police received a report for found property of a key located at a business on E. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report. The property will be held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by the owner.

On June 11, 4:47 p.m. while on a traffic stop police arrested Neil Marteney, Minerva, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for three counts possession of drug paraphernalia. Marteney was also charged with driving under suspension, display of license plate, possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and carrying concealed weapons. Information was obtained for a report. Marteney is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court and Carroll County Court.

On June 12, 11:06 p.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute from a residence on Murray Ave. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the Carroll County prosecutor for review.

On June 13, 11:09 a.m. police received a report for an overdose from a resident on W. Line St. EMS transported a patient for treatment. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 13, 4:37 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged James McGee, Uhrichsville, with driving under the influence, loud exhaust and open container. Information was obtained for a report and McGee is scheduled to appear in Carroll County Court.

On June 14, 1:25 a.m. while on a traffic stop police arrested Jacob Yeager, Canton, on warrants. One out of Parma Police Department for failure to appear for trespassing, second out of Massillon Police Department for failure to appear for driving under the influence. Lisa Riley, Canton, was arrested on a warrant out of Stark County for failure to appear for driving under suspension. Yeager was also charged with open container and controlled substance. Information was obtained for a report. Yeager was turned over to Massillon Police Department and is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court and Riley was turned over to Stark County.

On June 14, 11:06 a.m. police received a report for theft from a resident on Allen Ave. Devon Reckner, Minerva, was arrested for theft. Information was obtained for a report. Reckner was transported to Stark County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On June 14, 7:20 p.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute at a residence on W. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 14, 10:35 p.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute at a residence on S. Market St. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the Carroll County prosecutor for review.

On June 15, 5:17 p.m. police received a report for a theft from a residence on West St. Information was obtained for a report.

On June 15, 2:15 a.m. police received a report for found property of a cell phone located at Municipal Park. Information was obtained for a report. The property will be held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by the owner.

On June 16, 1:00 a.m. police received a report of found property of a skate board located at Municipal Park. Information was obtained for a report. The property will be held at the Minerva Police Department to be claimed by the owner.

Accidents

On June 15, 10:41 a.m. a vehicle operated by Harry Neff, Minerva, struck a vehicle owned by Cheryl Stronsnider, Minerva, while backing out of a driveway on Park St. No injuries and light damage reported.
