Minerva Police Report

On Feb. 15, 11:28 a.m. police received a report for theft from a business on W. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb.16, 11:39 a.m. Robin Cribb, Kensington, posted bond on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to appear for speeding. Information was obtained for a report and the warrant was canceled.

On Feb. 16, 6:18 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged a juvenile for speeding, another juvenile was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Michael Shillig, Louisville, was charged with underage possession, open container and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both juveniles are scheduled to appear in Stark County Juvenile Court. Shillig is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On Feb. 17, 8:59 a.m. police received a report of a fraud from a resident on Wine St. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb. 17, 6:12 p.m. police received a report for dogs running at large on S. Market St. Charged was Beverly Facemier, Minerva, with dogs running at large. Facemier is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On Feb. 18, 11:04 a.m. police received a report for harassment from a resident that occurred on E. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb. 18, 4:59 p.m. police arrested Terry L. Brooks, Minerva, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for improper handling firearms in a motor vehicle, carrying concealed weapon and obstructing official business. Brooks is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On Feb. 19, 1018 a.m. police attempted to stop a vehicle on Alliance Rd., which resulted in an accident. Joshua Brady, Minerva, was charged with felony failure to comply with order or signal of police officer and driving under suspension. Brady was transported to Carroll County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Carroll County Court.

On Feb. 19, 7:05 p.m. police received a call for a domestic dispute at a residence on N. Market St. Gregory Spila, Minerva, was arrested for domestic violence. Splia was transported to Stark County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Alliance Municipal Court.

On Feb. 19, 11:05 p.m. police arrested Jacob Baker, East Canton, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for no operator's license. Baker posted bond and the warrant was canceled.

On Feb. 20, 4:11 p.m. while on a traffic stop police charged Kaleb Bennett, Minerva, with speeding, driving under suspension and drug paraphernalia. Bennett is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On Feb. 21, 1:30 p.m. police received a report for a theft from a residence on Yoder Ct. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb. 21, 5:35 p.m. police received a report for a neighbor dispute on E. Line St. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb.21, 5:53 p.m. police received a report for a domestic dispute at a residence on E. Sandyvale Dr. Information was obtained for a report and sent to Carroll County Family Services for review.

On Feb. 21, 6:52 p.m. police received a report for dogs running at large on E. Line St. Laura Evans, Minerva, was charged with dogs running at large. Evans is scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court.

On Feb. 22, 5:00 p.m. police received a report for criminal mischief from a resident on High St. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb. 22, 8:31 p.m. police received a report for criminal mischief at a business on Lincoln St. SE. Information was obtained for a report.

On Feb. 22, 9:45 p.m. police received a report for a possible breaking/entering at a residence on W. Lincolnway. Information was obtained for a report and sent to the Stark County Family Services for review.

On Feb. 23, 10:36 a.m. Brandy Boone, Minerva, posted bond on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for driving under suspension. The warrant was canceled.

On Feb. 24, 9:34 a.m. police arrested Caleb Clark, Salineville, on two warrants out of Minerva Mayor's Court for failure to pay fines and cost for drug abuse and possession marijuana drug paraphernalia, additional warrant for failure to pay fines and cost for no operator's license. Clark posted bond and the warrant was canceled.
