Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center announced that it has recognized Amanda Wolick as the facility's "Most Valuable Player."
A state tested nursing aide, Wolick was one of 55 "MVPs" to be honored at the annual Leadership Awards Retreat held by Guardian Elder Care, the parent company of Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
The retreat honors and thanks caregivers and other professionals working throughout each of Guardian Elder Care's 46 campuses as well as in their ancillary divisions. The MVP award designates a dedicated employee who represents hard work, commitment to caring for others, and who often exceeds expectations.
"Amanda has proven herself to be a leader within our STNA staff," Ryan Valiquette, administrator, said. "She is always willing to lend a hand and assists with training our new staff."
Wolick, who has worked for Minerva for more than a year, said was honored to have received the award.
Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at 1035 E. Lincoln Way is a 34-bed skilled nursing facility offering physical, occupational, speech and wound care therapy.
