Salon Revive will hold a grand opening to celebrate its new spa on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the business, which is located at 220 Scranton Avenue in Minerva.
The event will include giveaways such as gift certificates and gift baskets as well as refreshments.
First-time clients to the spa can take advantage of 20-percent discounts on all spa services during the grand opening event.
The spa, which is located on the salon's upper floor, features ambient music and low lighting that business owner Mandi Wright said are designed to create a mood of calm and relaxation.
"The idea when you come up these steps is that you go from a happy, bubbly place to a space that is quiet," said Wright.
Services include deep tissue, Swedish, and Reiki massages by licensed massotherapist Bob Kautz; pedicures and manicures, including gel polish and nail art services, by Danyelle James; pedicures. manicures, and nail acrylics by Connie Butterfield; and facials that aesthetician Christina Connelley custom blends for different skin types and conditions using the Bioelements line of all-natural botanically-based treatments.
To make an appointment at the spa, call Salon Revive at 330-522-4028 and ask for the specific contact numbers of spa service providers, then call the desired service provider directly.
Salon Revive also keeps a Facebook page with details about services, contact information for service providers in the salon and spa, and information about sales and specials.
Hours vary by service provider, but the salon and spa are closed on Sundays.
Wright noted that clients must be able to climb Salon Revive's spiral staircase to access its spa. The spa does not have separate access for the disabled.
